RF Skin Needling

Skin needling uses thousands of micro-punctures to stimulate collagen production. This supports firmer-looking skin, improved tone, and a smoother appearance of fine lines and acne-scar texture.

At PCSC we offer two options:

  • Traditional skin needling - a milder, collagen-boosting option
  • RF (radio frequency) needling - combines the needling action with heat delivered at the tips for deeper results

Traditional vs RF: What's the Difference?

Both techniques use microdamage to prompt the skin's collagen response. Traditional microneedling stops at the needle penetration. RF microneedling adds controlled heat at the tip of the needle, meaning treatment temperature and depth can be customised, making it a stronger option for the appearance of scar texture and skin tightening across all skin tones.

One RF needling session often produces more visible change than several traditional microneedling sessions. Your practitioner will recommend which is appropriate at consultation.
